Activate eSIM on Subs subscriptions with a simple step-by-step guide.

Competence

To activate eSIM, you need to have the "Account" permission . Users without this permission cannot activate eSIM themselves.

Step-by-step

1. Go to the subscription list

  • Click on the gear at the bottom of the menu on the left.
  • Select Business account .
  • Click on Subs .

2. Choose subscription

  • In the list under Subscriptions , select, for example, Subs mobile .
  • Click on the mobile number you want to change to eSIM.

3. Switch to eSIM

  • In the subscription settings, scroll down to the SIM section.
  • Click Switch to eSIM .

4. Send QR code

  • Select Send QR code via email .
  • Enter the user's email address and click Send .

5. Complete the activation

  • Ask the user to scan the QR code with the phone's built-in eSIM reader to complete the switch.

Important to know

  • eSIM works for most smartphones, but not for smartwatches (e.g. Apple Watch, Samsung Watch 3).
  • Always check that the device supports eSIM before activation.
