Activate on existing subscription
You need to have the permission for the account to activate eSIM on a subscription. A user without this permission cannot activate it on their own.
- Open the subscription
- Under SIM, expand switch to eSIM
- Click to send QR code via email
- Enter the user's email address
- Click send
- Ask the user to use their phone's built-in eSIM reader to complete the switch
Activate on a new subscription
Currently, eSIM does not work on all smartwatches, e.g., Apple Watch.
